Guanaja

Guanaja is the least populous and most private of the Bay Islands. We will stop at the unique Bonacca Cay known as the ‘Venice of the Caribbean’, a very small village-cay mostly built on stilts in the bay off the main island, Bonacca is where the majority of the population live. This small and quaint village offers a plethora off walking paths through town with plenty of food and culture. On the main island you will also have the opportunity for a jungle hike to a gorgeous waterfall.

Hike to a gorgeous jungle waterfall on the north side of Guanaja.

Cayos Cochinos

Though technically not part of The Bay Islands municipality, Cayos Cochinos (The Hog Islands) are an unmissable archipelago of 15 stunning small islands and cays. Only a short cruise from Roatan, with some fantastic fishing on the way!

Cayos Cochinos is a stunning location for snorkeling and diving, supported by the local marine park. We will anchor by 'Chachahuate Island'. This small village cay is home to the local Garifuna tribe for some island cuisine and allow us to experience their unique culture.
